Hello All

Just started this up... I know the name "Bear Feet" has the potential to sound a bit rustic, but I chose it because Bear was a childhood nickname for me; feet is due to the main topic of this blog: SHOES. Glorious shoes. Shoes of all types, of course. I say that's the main focus now, but don't be surprised if other random snipits come up as well...

To begin, I would love to showcase my first (and hopefully not last) pair of Michael Kors. (Excuse my horribly taken care of toe nails... I vow to never let my toes get that disgraceful again). Anyway, I got these when I went to Vegas with the rents. My mother, who has quite good taste but hasn't yet realized it, thought they were fabulous as well; always a good sign. ;)
When I saw these while my mother was browsing for a handbag at the Michael Kors boutique at the Shops at Caesar's Palace (I simply adore that collection of delicious stoes, I definitely need to go back) the sale's woman working obviously noticed my infatuation. She whisked to the back, coming out with my beautiful shoes after she saw me eyeing them. And it must have been a miracle, they fit perfectly, like a dream, even. I've never had zipper shoes before and I love how that touch gives the metallic gold a bit more edge.

Here is a nice view of the heel. For me, 4 inches is an absolute minimum heel height. (With one exception, which I'm sure I'll post sometime in the near future). That's what these lovely things are, yet they are still my absolute favorite pair of shoes. As you can see, the heel is very reflective, which I love. Apologies that the photo is not roated properly, it was horizontal in the file but came out like this... needless to say, I'm not the most technologically advanced...

I suppose that's all for my first post; I do find this blogging quite fascinating!

xx
Sarah
