My friends Emily, Abby, Maja and myself put together a surprise belated Valentine's day dinner for our boyfriends! It was super fun and this is what I wore... it's Abby's dress and belt that she let me borrow and flats from old navy. Simple, yet super fun, I think. Thanks again, Abby! :D
Going to work on Sunday. Normally I like to get a lot fancier but I had stayed up kind of later than usual the night before so I feeling something more casual. I wore Hollister jeans, an Old Navy tank top and cardigan, Abby's belt (thanks again, girlie), a scarf a friend got for me in Spain, and Urban Outfitters flats. Surprisngly, there are certain times when I'm actually enjoying the brown/black combo... as seen here with the cardigan and flats. Sometimes it works well when there are several other colors in the outfit as well, like my super soft scarf.
Not gonna lie, I was a bit worried that my prom dress I had got in November wasn't going to fit anymore, because I had bought right when swim season ended. Luckily, it did! So naturally, I took pictures. :) Oh, and the dress is Aidan Mattox. He really has quite stunning designs and dresses. I had never heard of the brand before, but I Googled it (trusty Google never lets me down) and the dresses are just gorgeous! Mine is too, of course. :)

So after trying on my prom dress, I was feeling a bit nostalgic and felt the need to try on my prom dress from junior year. Quite the difference between this year and last, yes? I do love this BCBG MaxAzria though because it's ther perfect LBD and still fits like a charm! I'm wearing it here with my pink breast cancer Shoedazzle shoes!
Again, this time with some platform peep toe pumps from Shoedazzle. These pumps have a pink sole, they're so cute! I got these either in December or January, I'm not sure which... I'm leaning towards January. I'm not sure if I have posted about them, actually. Oops!
Same BCBG dress, with my February Shoedazzle shoes and a vintage fur shrug thing (I'm not sure of the technical name here, can you tell?). What I love about black dresses is that you can pair them with almost any type of shoe! Brights, nuetrals, cage booties, pumps, whatever. It all works.
So while I was on the prom dress whim, here is my dress from my sophomore year. It's also BCBG and was seriously an awesome find. I got it in Pullman, which is insane because there's usually nowhere good to shop here. However, the store I got it at closed so no more BCBG dress browsing near by :(.I love this dress though, it's so unique and the color is gorgeous! I'm wearing it with Shoedazzle shoes.
So obviously this was not taken on my phone. This was at Maja's and is a better view of my outfit (and Adam's!). It was definitely a fun night.
Well I'm off to finish up packing and what not, I'll post on Sunday!
Have a great end of the week and weekend!
