I die...

First of all, I promise part II of my little Look For Less shenanigans will be coming sometime in the near future! Now I am aware that everything is relative and saying "in the near future" in regards to posts  could mean a month or two... regardless, if you're a faithful reader (which I hope you all are!) you will most definitely see it sometime before the end of summer! Huzzah.

In the mean time, take a look at this:

Balenciaga, Fall 2010 Ready to Wear... words cannot even begin to describe the way I feel about these shoes. The melding of futuristic and old-fashioned styles (penny loafers and oxfords, anyone?) are juxtaposed beautifully amidst the architectural pastels shapes. So new school, if you will. And completely refreshing for a fall collection. Bring on the color, baby!

While I'm on the topic of shoes (but let's face it, when am I not?) I've begun to compile a list of things on my back-to-school shopping list; or perhaps it should be named my "Beginning of College" list. Anyway, motorcycle inspired boots are front and center on said list. I've been searching for the perfect pair for quite awhile now and I might just have found the right babies for the job. Observe:

And these lovelies are at a budget friendly price too! Always a plus. Delia's has the tendency to impress me once in a blue moon.

P.S. I've already braced myself for the comments against my gorgeous Balenciaga's... show no mercy...

  1. I actually think the Balenciaga's are neat. Something about their futuristic look is inviting. You don't mention how much they are. Something tells me they are expensive though.

I do like the motorcycle boots, but you have some low black boots that aside from the criss cross straps are similar.

Glad you've posted again, I've missed reading your blog. xoxo

  2. Hi Dear Bear! I can't find much to like about those shoes! Guess I am just an ole fuddy-duddy. I repeat what I have said before - the shoe should enhance the beauty of the foot!
I hope you are not going into motorcycles - have never been able to see anything cool about riding a buddy seat! But seriously, it is so risky and dangerous. Aside from that the motorcycle boots are mildly attractive.

LoveU, Bear = your fuddy duddy Nanny
