Unrealistic Cravings

Here is a compilation of things I am thinking about for fall. Mostly unrealistic, yes, but a few in my prince range. Mostly just for fun, this list :)
I'm also going to be featuring what I have affectionately dubbed my "walking heels" in some post in the near future :)

1. Ray Ban aviators. I love love love aviators. I already have a pair of Calvin Klein's that I adore, but they're blue so I want something a bit more classic. And needless to say, I feel as though these babies are nearly the epitome of the classic aviator. However, as Ray Ban is owned by what my dad calls "the enemy," my dreams of wearing these is flying out the door... unless of course I fork up my own cash, which is highly unlikely when my pops is an optometrist and can get wonderful, beautiful sunglasses (hello Juicy :D) at wholesale prices.
2. Nude Christian Louboutins! Yes yes. I previously wanted black ones, but the nude ones are simply so gorgeous. Plus nude pumps are super leg lengthening, which is always a plus. Unfortunately, the hefty price tag here puts these Loubies on the backburner for several years.
3. OPI Matte Polish. Not going to lie, at first I was skeptical about matte polish. Being the nail fanatic I am, I eat up the shiny, laquered look. But the more I think about it, the more I am excited about these non-shiny matte polishes. I'm dyeing for the pink shade, I love hot pink on nails. It adds a nice pop (and in this case, an edgy pop) of color to any outfit.
4. One of my favorite looks from the Fall runway show of Haider Ackermann, a designer I love. His looks are super sleek, and in some cases daring, which is nice in a fall show, considering so many designers are showing full coats and loads of layers in all their looks. Not the case with Ackermann though! This man is brilliant.
5. A Coach bag. Ahh, this bag has been a fantasy of mine for a long time. I've been saving up too, knowing when I purchase mine it will be my automatic go-to bag for everything. Needless to say, I will be very excited when the day comes that I walk out of the Coach store with my new bag on my arm.
6. Acid wash jeans! I previously mentioned these, but I can't get over how cool they are. Not quite sure what I would wear them with, but they're pretty damn fierce. I believe these are a pair of Levi's from UO, and if the price isn't too high, hopefully they will be in my fall wardrobe!
7. Black YSL pumps. Now these babies are what made me switch over my dream of black Loubies. The sky-high heels on these are one of the key factors that drew me too them, as well as the platform. I love platforms on heels. The more height, the better. But, as with the Louboutins, I will have to wait a (long) while before purchasing these. :(
8. Bobbi Brown creamy lip color. I definitely am not much of a lipstick or gloss person, but this lip color is perfect. I got it in the color Nectar on a whim at the Seattle Nordstrom with my mom, and I love it. It's the most ingenious combination of the creaminess of lipstick but with a touch of shine, which is something I admit I do like about glosses. Because Nectar is more of a coral-ish orange-ish pink-ish color (ha) I want something a little more pink, with less orange, on days I'm feeling extra girly. I'm thinking the color Baby, but it's difficult to say without first trying it on!

Well that's my list. Of course, the UO cardigan several posts ago and the band jacket are still on my list, as are simply black leather boots. But this is a fun little compilation of fashion fantasies. And of course, the Bobbi Brown lip color!
Stay tuned for my self-proclaimed walking heels, hopefully sometime soon :)

  2. Hi Bear: I LOVE your blog! It all reminds me of when I was young, working in New York where I bought the most beautiful clothes (up in the garment district where there were bargains galore!) I love shoes, too. I like just about everything except that Michael Jackson jacket, which also is just like the little midget named Johnny appeared on one of the old TV commercials shouting "Call for Philip Morris" (cigarettes!)
