Spring!

It's only January, but my mind is already on spring. One of my favorite things about spring are HEELS. More specifically, wedges. I love wedges. They're insanely comfortable, and the perfect combination of casual and cute to wear anywhere. Here are some especially cute ones I've been looking at. Now, I know two of these aren't wedges, but they're so lust-worthy I had to include them.

1. and 2. are the same shoe. Howeer, the first one is in denim and the second one is obviously not. I just love both of them, they're both quite lovely, and so cute! These two, and number , are all from Alloy. Reasonably priced and adorable is an excellent combination.
3. Not a wedge, but a cute heel nonetheless. Very springy, I think. Plus they're so unlike anything I own, so I'm very intrigued. These babies are super unique and pretty while retaining the classic peep toe and pump style.
4. These are a bit more pricey than the previous ones, but the attention to detail is fantastic! I love the natural color and the ties. I have to admit, I don't love all Dolce Vita shoes, but these ones are quite marvelous.
5. Not a heel either, but these are legit. I'm actually surprised I like these because they don't have a platform and I usually don't go for a peep toe when the shoe doesn't have a platform... but I love the cut out of the heel and the high shaft of the boot. Like number three, very intriguing. And please, ignore any inappropriate connotations to the word "shaft" that happen to be floating around in your mind.

I'm so happy this week seems to be moving along quickly! I'm pet setting Thursday - Sunday and I'm very excited... I love dogs and can't wait to spend some time with Sheeba! :)

  1. Interesting how styles come and go. I remember wedges back in the late 70's. They weren't quite as high as those above, but they were very fashionable at the time. I had a pair that even had strings that you tied up your calf - like grecian sandals.
