Cheapie brown boots from Gojane... I do love me a good bargain! Plus these are quite cute, if I do say so myself. I love the detail, and as always, boots are hot for spring.
My friend Abby has this Remington straightener and it works wonders! Because my hair is so dang thick the two inch plates really are helpful... I would much rather sleep than straighten my hair in the mornings, but since I chopped off all my hair awhile back it kind of likes to "do its thing" naturally, and while that worked well for my longer hair, it doesn't now. I absolutely detest wearing my hair down nowadays, unless it's straightened. Otherwise it flips out and about in a really unattractive way... It's kind of a lose-lose situation. Those dang catch-22's! Seriously.
A gorgeous DVF dress from Spring 2010 RTW. Love love love.
Iris Apfel in the front row of Rodarte! I think this was for Fall 2010 RTW although I'm not positive because I saved it on my computer a couple days ago. Regardless, this just makes me happy, so I felt the need to share.
Three glorious pastel colors for spring... Malaysian Mist, Melon of Troy, and Panda-Monium Pink. All by OPI, of course!
A pair of canvas Toms. I'm really thinking about getting some, but because I'm trying to cut back on spending, this is pretty unlikely, even though it's for a great cause.
Again, sorry the randomness of this post... like I said, hopefully some more collected posts will be up soon. Keep posted!

I really like the boots, they even look comfortable and wearable! Iris Apfels glasses are crazy...only she could pull off such a look. Might need to get me a pair of those Toms shoes. Isn't that the company that donates a pair for every pair purchased? The Melon of Troy nail polish looks festive and fun. Could be just what my toes need for Mexico!
ReplyDeleteI tried to post my comment yesterday - rejected because of Cookies, and I couldn't figure out what I am to do! Here goes again.
ReplyDeleteI like the boots, but not the dress! I think it is downright ugly, looks like a cutout you would put on a paper doll. Guess I am old fashioned, but then think of how that dress would look on me!!! I like the Iris Apfels outfit which reminds me of the Diane (can't remember the last name) which were so popular. Your Mom had a couple of them, and I bought one in Hong Kong and enjoyed wearing it for several years.
Your hair is always beautiful. I like it best when you pull back the side bangs which obscure your pretty face and interesting hair line!
