I just returned today from beautiful Las Vegas, and I actually do have some pictures to post! I was on the hunt for the perfect pair of red heels to match my prom dress, and in between trying on the most gorgeous Dior pumps and other ridiculously priced shoes, I found just what I was looking for at Dillard's, in the form of some Jessica Simpson patent pumps in the most spot on color... We did have to order my size though, as there happened to be no 8.5 in the store.
Another escapade at Zara (I was honestly in dire need to go there, being as there is no Zara within basically a 500 mile radius of Lentilville USA) resulted in some light wash shorts and much to my mother's surprise (not) another uber soft large t-shirt. I did try on the most beautiful camel suede wedge boots, but at $109.00 the price was a bit impractical. They were to die for, and hopefully I can scout down a picture somewhere to show you all, because really they're were quite splendid.
I'll post some pictures of what I wore throughout the week hopefully tomorrow or the next day, and until then, feast your eyes on the pretty shoesies:
They're from Urban (no surprise there) and kind of remind me of Prada, a wee bit.
So now I must be off to finish up my homework before heading back to the boring old grind of school tomorrow. (Holy nearly run-on sentence! I guess that is what happens when it's 10:43 at night and my brain hasn't been properly worked for the past week).
Thanks for not giving up hope!

I'd never give up hope on your Bear! It was a fun week in Vegas and to think you tried on shoes that cost almost $1000...Wow!
ReplyDeleteI am SO glad you are back to keeping me current on the latest shoes, etc.! I'll be looking forward to seeing the pictures.
ReplyDeleteDillard's was my favorite store in Phoenix, and a few of the favorite thingsI wear came from Dillard's!
Don't knock Lentilville! It is a nice, quiet and safe place to live between forays to various shopping Meccas! And I am glad y ou are back at school - all play and no work really does make one dull, I think. It brings Sara and Gerald Murphy to mind - they were a young couple in the 20's who hobnobbed with the likes of Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald. They had inherited some money, and thereafter didn't lift a finger to work, but devoted their lives to living it up on the French Riviera. When the 20's were over they were so out of style, and wound up being very unhappy people.
